"Great location, good hotel"
Stayed at the Sofitel for a romantic week-end with my boyfriend, and the staff were exceptionally helpful, they went all over the city to find white tulips as my boyfriend wanted it to be a surprise for me when we came to the hotel. When they weren't able to get tulips, they called my boyfriend and the result was a huge bouquet of white roses waiting for me in the hotel-room when we arrived.
They also upgraded us to one of their duplex-suites, which was really nice and featured a tea-kitchen in addition to the usual mini-bar.
We had breakfast in our room both days, and it was excellent. Unfortunately there was no view but the room was still very bright with windows in the ceiling.
Would absolutely recommend this hotel, it is also well located with the city-centre and the lake well within walking-distance.
Just one warning: parking is really expensive, you probably would be better off parking on the street.

My husband, two sons and I spent a Saturday night at this hotel in November. We had connecting rooms that featured the most comfortable beds on which we have ever slept. The staff members at the hotel were more than helpful. We found the location to be ideal for exploring the old city. Definitely an excellent choice. Best rates found on hotel's website. Highly recommend!
