"A most pleasureable stay, very friendly and enthusiastic staff !!" We arrived on good friday a little tired and hot from our flight and we were greeted at the main entrance in a most welcoming and polite way, we were then presented with clean wet hot towels on arrival which was most refreshing whilst we waited to be checked in. We were then told about the hotel facilities, whilst our room was checked to make sure it was ready for us as we were a little early, we were asked if we wanted to take a seat and would we like any refreshments whilst we waited, no sooner than he asked us and the concierge came back to collect our cases and bags to take us to our room. The petals room (standard room) was just like the photos shown on the website, more than ample in size with a queen bed, free soft drinks in the bar throughout our stay, a fresh coffee maker, 2 x large size white bathrobes, and a view looking out onto the quiet gardens at the rear. After we unpacked we then went back down to reception desk to ask what Geneva had to offer and we were immediately given a map and told about all the different attractions and places to visit during our stay. If I can sum up this hotel it would be to say it was a very pleasant experience indeed and I would not hesitate to recommend it for its well trained and very genuinely happy staff who definately enjoyed looking after us and making us feel like we were the only customers in the hotel. The only critisism of the hotel was because it was a public holiday the restaurant was shut throughout our 4 day stay, which was a bit disappointing but to their credit the bar menu in the cocktail lounge was enticing and delicious. This hotel is in a very central location and shows great attention to detail. A beautiful complimentary hand made swiss easter egg (complete with chocolates) on Easter Sunday just shows they really care!!!! will definately be returning :)

"Reborn beauty" merging the best of its historic architecture with modern room design and furnishing, de la paix is the sophisticated travelers choice. Great concierge, completely refurbished, food and bar choices that are worthy selections. You can't go wrong...especially since there are only 80+ rooms; you will be an important guest. Check its Web site for specials; we found a great "family rate" on two rooms - the second was 1/2 price. Oh, and bring your platinum card, it's an expensive experience.

"Fantastic ! Entirely renovated. The place where to stay" I heard about the Hotel de la Paix before it was renovated. Nothing to compare today to what I was told. The decor is fantastic and the staff is so nice and helpful. I stayed in a "Goutte d'Eau" room. Everything has been though to make you feel so fine. The view I had from my room to the Lake was amazing. I also had the chance to try their new restaurant "Vertig'O" the day it opened : it is definitely the place where to go !

"A Grand Hotel Renewed" ran a conference at the hotel --great food and service. newly renovated rooms charming and with wonderful lake-side views. Staff could not be more helpful. An excellent experience
