"Very good hotel!"
The hotel is almost perfect. The staff are so friendly (the manager speak portuguese too, very well), the brakfast is very delicious and the room is so big, but a shower is terrible, sometimes so hot and sometimes so cool. The localization is fine.

"Good value for Geneva"
The Hotel Capitole is located very centrally, a few minutes from Lake Geneva, and the bus and train stations. You can get a bus to the airport for just 3 francs, less than £1.50, the number 10, which leaves every ten mins.
The room was clean and spacious, with tv, mini bar, phone and safe. The cupboards and drawers had loads of space to place your clothes.
The shower was a bit erratic, maybe it was because I was on the 6th floor, it did go from cold to hot without any warning, and the carpets on the stairs and hotel room floor were quite worn and old looking.
There was also a lack of light when walking between the 6th and 5th floors stairway to get the lift on the 5th floor.
The breakfast was a cold buffet with everything you could want, and they didn't run out of food or drink even if you came down 20 mins before the end of the breakfast session, which wa good - 7am - 10am.
The hotel did breakfast in the los Angeles cafe adjacent, which served as a bar throughout the day and evening. It was very trendy with music and we drank there every night.
It was waiter service at the tables, and the staff there and at the hotel were very friendly and spoke good English.
If you walk through the cafe to the street there is an excellent Chinese Restaurant called Basilic, which serves delicious food which is probably one of the cheaper places to eat in Geneva.
Overall for Geneva, I think the hotel is good value for money and I would stay there again.
