The 3 stars Best Western Astoria Hotel is well situated in the center, in the front of the main train station and next to the principal business area.

The building of the hotel was held in 1901 and the hotel was created in 1956. It was regularely renovated and the last time was in 1998 with half of the rooms and coridors. The other part will take place this year in order to provide to our guests the comfort and services they deserve.

In 1993, the hotel joint the International Best Western Hotel chain. This is for guests a quality guarantee with a reservation facilities.

Best Western Astoria Hotel is in city center opposite the international railway station and bus station, three blocks from Lake Geneva.

My room was small and had a very old decor but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The biggest plus in the room was the air conditioning. The hotel location is very convenient, its in front of the central station and one block away from a popular pedestrian area with shops, bars and restaurants.

The best advantage of Best Western Astoria Hotel was its great location, just situated near the central train station and short walking distance to the lake. Our room was cozy, clean and basicly furnished. The bathroom was also OK, so very ideal to spend couple of nights.

Very good experience , very nice and professional staff. Rooms were small but clean and well furnished. Best location , near central train station and close to old town and lake, just perfect to move around.

Just arrived back from the Best Western Astoria. The rooms are quite small but clean and ample for a couple of night's stay. Directly opposite the central train station and a busy main road so it can be noisey. Staff are polite and friendly and the breakfast is good. Only 10 mins walk from the lake and over the bridge to the old town. This hotel is in a good location for the business traveller or visitors who want to be close to the main station for trips to other parts of Switzerland
